The Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) by IREB® is a certification scheme for everyone involved professionally with Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis and software and systems development.
The CPRE Foundation Level covers the fundamentals of the Requirements Engineering domain, methodology and available techniques.
The Foundation Level addresses the advanced beginner in Requirements Engineering and provides the core knowledge of this topic.
Everyone working with Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis, software and systems development, who is demanding in terms of quality and professionalism, should strive for it.
The Foundation Level encompasses the elicitation of requirements with appropriate documentation, requirements verification and validation as well as their management throughout the end-to-end product life cycle.
There are no prerequisites to applying for the Foundation Level.
A person with a CPRE Foundation Level certificate will acquirred several skills like :
Be familiar with the terminology of Requirements Engineering/Business Analysis and Requirements Management
Understand the basic techniques and methods of Requirements Engineering and their application
Be familiar with the most established notations for requirements
We provide training courses that are ideally suited in preparing participants for the CPRE examinations.
The IREB CPRE FL syllabus is studied and embellish with theoretical questions and practical case studies to be ready to seat the exam.

Even though a training course is not a must, it is the most efficient way to prepare for the CPRE examination.
A training course has a minimum duration of three days.
Usually, the examination (a multiple-choice test) is taken immediately after completing a course, so the acquired knowledge is still fresh for the examination.
We provide the training for a while and we are proud to have led 80% of our trained people to get the certification at the first shot.
Furthermore, the mindset during the training is suited to favorize the understanding in a relaxed but studious way.
The training material is in French or English but the training is performed in French. Nevertheless, our instructor can switch to English to help the English-speaker to understand the hardest points.
